We Value Hard Work and Commitment
- Hebrews 12:11 – 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Principles of Judo
精力善用 Maximum efficient use of energy - Ephesians 5:15-16 – 15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
自他共栄 Mutual benefit and/or prosperity - Romans 14:19 – 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
In Japanese there is a term 衣食住(I-shoku-ju) which means clothing, food, shelter/house. These are the necessities of life. We believe that these necessities must be the things that we learn at school as fundamental knowledge. Dojo - A dojo is a Japanese term which literally means "place of the way". Bringing it all together, we see an opportunity to contribute our best efforts to society by sharing our values through a dojo, art and retail space that fosters community well being.
Motivation - make your soul vibrate in a good way and encourage the environment around you to become better.
Art takes on many forms and we believe that celebrating God through art is the way to make the individual and community better.
We would like to help people, especially kids who are our future, to recognize who they are, what they like to do, what they are good at, and what is their dream. When we know these aspects of ourselves, we can contribute our best efforts to our society in a meaningful way.
We endeavor to build a good community with people who also want to make themselves better and in turn improve their community.
